REVIEW

rate
5/5 great istructive book.

content
This book is composed from three parts: it starts with an overview of the many parts that today had become "essential Spring", this very flexible framework also told "swiss army" from java programmers.
From fondamentals of dependency injection to aspect programming, the author gets over many interfaces and strategies that Spring propose to connect at databases, to manage transactions, to garantie security, to call remote services, to send and receive messages on queues, manage enterprise java beans.
The third part of the book get in deep detail of maybe the most used Spring library: web clients and spring web flow.

like
I liked the way the author choosed to expose the content and the completeness (to remain in just one book).

commento
The book explain very well Spring components and the way it is become rich in API today.
Even if tecnical book like this have a hard time seeking a moving target (every day Spring is widening the range of application) the parts described are not deprecated, but realy used in production around the world.
Gli esempi sono simpatici e chiarificatori. L'autore non si limita a indicare i lati positivi e Exemples in the book are funny and clear. The author don't limit himself to show the good points od Spring but even the traps and obscure side. The author choosed a practical style, onestly indicatating when there is need to a external reference and when chapters are "options" concentrating over the real every day stuff.

at the end
For all of you who will learn or will get updated on Spring this is for sure a best buy.
